The Sanford School of Public Policy at Duke University is offering a 25% tuition reduction and application fee waiver for current or recently displaced federal employees. This opportunity is available to qualified applicants admitted to the early-career Master of Public Policy (MPP) or mid-career Master of International Development Policy (MIDP) program for the 2025–2026 academic year.

In support of applicants navigating career transitions, both programs have extended the final application deadline to June 15, with rolling admissions through that date.

"At Sanford, we are committed to supporting federal employees—especially those navigating career transitions due to recent workforce reductions," said Manoj Mohanan, interim dean of the Sanford School of Public Policy at Duke about the decision. " It’s essential that we provide meaningful pathways for these dedicated public servants, including our alumni, to continue applying their skills and experience in service of the public good. This tuition reduction reflects our mission to strengthen public leadership and foster opportunity at every career stage."
