During the spring semester, teams of first-year MPP students serve as consultants to clients with actual problems in a variety of policy areas. The semester begins with a 48-hour memo experience to learn teamwork skills. Students work in teams of four or five and have 48 hours to research and analyze a topic and write a ten-page memo.
The 48-Hour Memo is part of the MPP core class PUBPOL 804 “Public Policy Analysis II."
