Bautista Logioco graduated in 2004 from the Sanford School of Public Policy at Duke University with a Master of International Development (MIDP) degree. Since then he has had a variety of international roles at the United Nations, including the World Food Programme, UN Women, UN Development Program and more.

He is currently a Senior Peacebuilding Consultant for the UN.

Bautista says the MIDP program launched him on his career. A native of Argentina, he says his time at Duke was special because the program is not only a professional degree program, but is also a "family away from home and across the world."
