Director of Finance & Strategic Planning
Zach Johnson has served as Director of Finance for the Sanford School since 2012. This role encompasses significant interaction with School & University leaders providing financial management and strategic planning. He is directly involved in the development of the school budget, school financial agreements, and various analyses for the benefit of the Dean & broader school community.
Zach received his B.A. in Global Health Administration from the University of Iowa and his M.B.A. from the University of Mississippi. Prior to joining the Sanford School, Zach worked in healthcare financial administration and process improvement. Outside of the office, Zach enjoys landscape architecture, gardening and home improvement projects. He has a passion for environmental conservation, Duke Basketball, camping, and spending quality time with family.
