Postdoctoral Associate, Duke Center for Child & Family Policy
Yuerong Liu joined the Center for Child and Family Policy as a postdoctoral associate in February 2020. Her research agenda centers on the role of family dynamics and social context in preventing or mitigating child and adolescent problem behaviors. Her research interests are in the areas of parenting, child maltreatment, risk and protective family factors of child behavior problems, and social determinants of family and child well-being. She has received extensive training in quantitative methods, and her research relies heavily on secondary data analyses with large-scale longitudinal datasets. She currently works on projects that examine the intersection between health care and social services for children at-risk for experiencing maltreatment.
