Terri Hughes

Terri Hughes is a procurement professional supporting Alumni Development at the Sanford School of Public Policy. She is committed to fostering inclusive environments, providing outstanding customer service, and contributing to effective, team-oriented solutions.

A Spring 2026 graduate of North Carolina Central University, Terri began her journey at Duke University in 2025 as a Dr. Charmaine McKissick-Melton Communications Fellow. She later joined Duke Temporary Services, where she strengthened her skills in communication, operations, and customer support while gaining valuable experience across a variety of professional settings.

Terri is passionate about continuous learning, collaboration, and making meaningful contributions in the workplace. In her free time, she enjoys deepening her faith, cheering on women’s basketball, and spending quality time with family and friends.
