Sign Language Interpreter
Taylor Ofori, NIC (she/her), is one of the first American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters in the Sanford School of Public Policy. She is a nationally certified sign language interpreter specializing in post-secondary, DeafBlind, medical, and theatrical interpreting. She has a B.A. in Criminology, and a B.S. in Signed Language Interpreting, both from the University of New Mexico. She has interpreted for students at universities across the country such as Williams College, NC State, Wake Technical Community College, etc. She has worked with the DeafBlind community for five years and is indelibly grateful to them for shaping who she is as an interpreter. When she's not working, you can find Taylor with her dog Gru and her partner Aaron.
