PhD Program Coordinator
Shawna Barrow brings more than 20 years of experience in higher education to her role as Program Coordinator (DGSA) for the Public Policy and Environmental Policy Ph.D. programs. In this role, she leads program administration, admissions, financial services, budget management, and student services, working closely with faculty, staff, and students to support doctoral candidates from admission through graduation.
Her career spans community colleges and research universities, where she has led academic advising, program coordination, and student support initiatives. Shawna holds a Master of Arts in Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management. Outside of work, she enjoys training for triathlons, listening to audiobooks, volunteering, and spending time with her family.
