Administrative Intern, Duke Center for Child & Family Policy

Sharon Little joined the Center for Child and Family Policy in February 2020 as a care project coach for the Building Capacity for Trauma-Informed Infant & Toddler Care: A Professional Development Framework project.

Little has 34 years in varying degrees of early education and has previously worked as a regulatory consultant, child care director, child care social worker, subsidy policy consultant, private consultant, and trainer in early education. She is program lead and faculty for Early Childhood and School-Age programs at South Piedmont Community College. She has also piloted initiatives with Head Start, Union County Public Schools Exceptional Children’s Programs, and Union County Public Schools after-school programs.
