Postdoctoral Associate, World Food Policy Center
Noah Gibson is a Postdoctoral Associate at the World Food Policy Center. He earned his PhD in Sociology and Public Policy at Duke University. His dissertation examines the structural drivers of food insecurity in the United States and the health outcomes associated with chronic food insecurity, focusing on how racial residential segregation, wealth inequality, and food access shape persistent disparities. At the World Food Policy Center, he contributes to projects on online grocery shopping among SNAP participants and conducts research using restricted Panel Study of Income Dynamics (PSID) data to investigate the links between segregation, food insecurity, and health. Prior to Duke, Noah received his M.S. in Applied Economics and B.S. in Economics from Ohio State University.
