Communications Intern
Maxwell is a rising senior at North Carolina Central University studying Mass Communications with a concentration in PR. His passion for storytelling and creative writing has led him to leadership positions in organizations such as Eagles Eye View (EEV) as the Social Media Coordinator and Secretary of the NCCU Chapter of PRSSA (Public Relations Student Society of America).
Outside the classroom he enjoys photography, sports, fitness, and creating content. Through his photography and social media work he captures authentic moments on campus that truly connect with students, organizations, and all other audiences.
Although he currently serves on two executive boards, Maxwell is always eager to support his campus any way possible. In his role as SM Coordinator for EEV he oversees the reviewing/editing all content, captions, and social media interaction for the org. page and scheduling video shoots. These responsibilities have strengthened his leadership, creativity, and outgoing personality while allowing him to bring fresh ideas and direction to the team.
On top of content creation, Maxwell has experience in photography, interviews, and Adobe Lightroom and Premiere where he creates polished, high-quality visuals for consumers. His portfolio includes concert photography, sports events, campus engagement, portraits, lifestyle shoots and model-led creative shoots. This wide range of skills make him an asset too any team he is a part of.
Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, Maxwell developed an interest in photography through his love for music, media, and sports. He discovered that combining these interests allowed him to tell meaningful stories while creating lasting memories for both his self and others. He is excited to contribute his creativity, leadership, and unique perspective to the Sanford team and hopes to leave a lasting impact through his work.
