Assistant Director of Polis: Center for Politics
Margaret (Meg) Bittle is the Assistant Director of Polis: Center for Politics. As such, Meg provides developmental oversight and management of programs while assisting with strategic planning for the center. Along with her keen financial analysis skills, Meg is a direct resource to the Center's Administrative & Communications Assistant and team of dedicated student workers.
Prior to her career at Duke, she worked with the Finance and Administration team at George Washington University’s School of Business. She spent three years working in higher education and interning at various political think tanks in Washington, DC before moving back to her hometown of Durham. Meg's studies in International Relations & Political Science, and focus on East Asian Studies at North Carolina State University, demonstrate her dedication to gaining a deeper understanding of political dynamics and international relations.
