Dean’s Special Initiatives Project Planner
Lucia Hodgson serves as the Dean’s Special Initiatives Project Planner at the Sanford School of Public Policy. In this position, she plans, coordinates, and manages special initiatives and projects at the direction of the Dean and other senior personnel in the Dean's Office. Prior to joining Sanford, Lucia served in a similar role in the Dean’s Office at the LBJ School of Public Affairs at The University of Texas at Austin. Since earning a BA from Yale University, she has combined administrative and academic work. She holds a PhD in English from the University of Southern California and was employed as Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Texas A&M University for nine years. Lucia is the recipient of a Humanities and Social Sciences Project Grant from the Swedish Research Council, and she is currently a part-time researcher at the Swedish Institute for North American Studies at Uppsala University in Sweden.
