Faculty Support & Accounting Specialist

Jamie is the Faculty Support and Accounting Specialist at the DeWitt Wallace Center for Media and Democracy. In her role, she is a liaison between faculty, staff, and administration. She provides a range of support related to finance, academics, strategy, and relationship development.

Jamie earned a Master of Public Policy degree from Duke University and was honored with the MPP Service Award for outstanding contributions to the community. Her master’s project explored how the government can advance gender equity through paid leave policies. As a student, she worked at the Department of Labor as a Management and Analysis Intern, the Shared Humanity Project as a Management Specialist, and the DeWitt Wallace Center as a Teaching/Research Assistant.

Prior, Jamie was a nonprofit manager and campaign director. Broadly, her interest centers on gender and how media, technology, communications, strategy, public engagement, power, leadership, and other levers shape the ways in which equitable advancement can be achieved.

Outside of work, you can find Jamie attending local concerts, practicing meditation, and trying new recipes.
