Jack is an Emmy-nominated and Telly award-winning video producer with particular strengths in cinematography, audio engineering, editing, and color grading. He spent a decade in Champaign-Urbana in Illinois, working on high-profile media projects for the University of Illinois and various local businesses before moving to the Triangle area in 2018 with his wife. Jack started working as a multimedia content creator and communicator with the Sanford School in 2021, and is always excited to meet and collaborate with other creatives across the Duke network.
He is passionate about creative storytelling, exploring the cutting edge of media technology, and working collaboratively as a communicator. Aside from higher education media production, Jack has a dynamic professional history involving audiovisual network design and installation, escape room puzzle engineering and set design, music composition and recording, electronics design and assembly, and woodworking and various fabrication processes. When not at work, you can find Jack working in his spatial sound studio, hiking in the woods, playing disc golf, playing board games, or tending to his small homestead with his wife and pets.
