IT Analyst
Ed Ocampo is one of the IT analysts at the Sanford School with over 34 years of experience as a systems administrator professional in computer hardware and application support, security policy enforcement, network administration, and object programming. Responsibilities include computer hardware, software, and data storage maintenance, providing new staff, faculty, and student orientation of Sanford IT resources and connectivity, maintenance of system security compliance with Duke’s computing policies using SCCM, Planisphere, and JAMF endpoint management software, and identity-access management for Sanford’s shared and protected data resources. Before working at Duke University, Ed worked for Xerox/Apple, IBM, CSC, and Lockheed Martin. Ed earned a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems at NC Wesleyan University.
