IT Analyst
Astrid Gatling is part of the IT team for the Sanford School of Public Policy. Astrid provides technical support for computers and peripheral equipment. She can help with hardware and software issues and can usually help you recover missing network files/folders. You can find her by calling the Sanford help desk for assistance.
Astrid started her computer and Sanford career in August 2001. Before transitioning to the IT world, she worked in the mental health field as a counselor at a wilderness camp and a group home. After using her degree in psychology from UNC-Chapel Hill, she decided to make a career change to IT.
Astrid is an avid women’s basketball fan and has season tickets for UNC’s women’s team. She can also be seen at some Duke women’s games, although as a passive spectator. Go Heels!
