Heather B Griswold
Office Manager, Career Services Office
Heather started her career at Duke University as a development associate for the Nasher Museum of Art where she played a vital role in membership management and gift records, as well as assisting with the many extraordinary events held at the museum, from Family Days to the annual Gala.
Her move to the Sanford School of Public Policy placed her right by the main entrance where it was her pleasure to meet and greet all who passed through those doors. She also had the pleasure of supporting faculty members and central office staff.
Heather’s newest career hop is with the Sanford School Career Services office where she still meets and greets students, employers and alumni who stop by for a visit or to receive some helpful advice with career advancement. She is also instrumental in maintaining the Career Services job search database as well as serving as the office manager.
Heather hails from the northeast, but has been a resident of North Carolina since 1996 and loves her Durham home. She volunteers with You Can Vote, a non-partisan, non-profit organization that trains and mobilizes volunteers to educate, register, and empower all North Carolina citizens to successfully cast their ballot—and she always has some voter registration forms on hand.
