Cheryl A. Bailey
Assistant Director, Duke Center for International Development
Cheryl Bailey is responsible for Admissions, Visiting Scholars and Student Accounts in the Duke Center for International Development. She joined DCID in 2008 as Senior Coordinator of Student and Academic Services, serving in this role until July 2013. Previously she worked with the master’s and Ph.D. students in Duke University’s Department of Economics. She earned her bachelor’s in French and Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia, her master’s in Liberal Studies from Duke, and a teaching certificate in French from the University of Central Florida. She also spent two years with the Peace Corps teaching math in French in the Central African Republic. In her spare time, she loves to read, travel and exercise so that she can eat out and bake occasionally.
