Bio

Adam Hollowell is Director of Student Ministry at Duke University Chapel and Adjunct Professor in the Sanford School of Public Policy. A North Carolina native, Dr. Hollowell holds an A.B. from Duke University (T’04) and a Masters of Theology and Ph.D. in Theological Ethics from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. His teaching at Duke includes Ethics in an Unjust World (PUBPOL 283) and Race and Public Policy (PUBPOL 190FS). He is the author of Power and Purpose: Paul Ramsey and Contemporary Christian Political Theology (Eerdmans, 2015) and a co-author of the online project Praying with James Baldwin in a Time of #BlackLivesMatter (www.prayingwithjamesbaldwin.com).
