Bio

Cathy Clabby teaches journalism and manages student projects at the DeWitt Wallace Center for Media & Democracy. A journalist specialized in covering the environment and science, she has reported for NC Health News, The News & Observer, WRAL.com, BBC Future and other outlets. She is a past senior editor and writer at American Scientist magazine and for E.O. Wilson’s Life on Earth digital book series. She is an alum fellow of the MIT Knight Science Journalism Program.
