Stephanie Brown MPP/MBA’16 was named a Top 30 Under 30 in Sustainability for 2018 by the magazine Corporate Knights. Brown was being recognized for her work at Amazon as a pathways operations manager. She was the co-leader of a fixed-cost initiative in 24 fulfillment centers that included sustainability projects focused on reducing utilities use and increasing recycling. She established guidelines for motion sensor lights that lowered electricity use across the network of warehouses and helped create a pallet recycling program. In September, Brown became the senior business manager for Amazon Prime Now in San Francisco.
Corporate Knights is a magazine focused on “clean capitalism.” It is distributed quarterly as an insert in the (Toronto) Globe and Mail and the Washington Post.
