Join us for a research town hall on authorship, ownership and plagiarism. Learn from Duke experts and institutional leaders about common authorship and plagiarism problems, how to report them and why is it important to do so. How disputes are handled and how many are reported? How to manage or avoid challenges related to authorship and plagiarism? Our special guest speaker, Dr. Deborah Poff, President of "Leading with Integrity" and member of the Committee for Publication Ethics will present best practices for achieving highest publication standards and discuss what universities and journals can do to support researchers.
Registration is required. Registrants will receive zoom information one week and one day ahead of the event.
Attending this event fulfills the Faculty & Staff Collaborative RCR-200 requirement.
