Energy Solution Room
Intrigued by case competitions but want to start with something more bite-sized? Enjoy networking and problem-solving opportunities? Want to connect with energy experts and talk solutions? Duke undergraduate and graduate students, join Energy Week at Duke for the inaugural Energy Solution Room! Students from all degree programs are welcome. You will collaborate with a small interdisciplinary team to develop solutions for energy challenges. You'll have the opportunity to meet and learn from leading energy experts across the energy startup, investment, and policy spaces. Students should sign up individually and expect to be divided into interdisciplinary teams at the Energy Solution Room. There, teams will have about an hour to discuss, design and prepare a presentation for their solution to the energy challenge. Energy Week's visiting energy expert judges will then select a winner! All participants will be expected to abide by Duke's current COVID policies on masking and social distancing. Register now!! Space is limited! ABOUT ENERGY WEEK: Energy Week is coordinated by dozens of Duke University students from diverse degree programs, with support from the Duke University Energy Initiative (which is merging with the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions) and the Center for Energy, Development and the Global Environment (EDGE) at the Fuqua School of Business.
