Energy Innovation Showcase

Current Duke students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend the Energy Innovation Showcase, where Energy Week at Duke will spotlight the work of North Carolina energy innovators. Come learn more about how the clean energy future is taking root locally-and meet the players who are making it happen.
Innovation takes many forms, so this event will introduce you to technology, policy, finance, energy justice, and development efforts and experts accelerating a clean and equitable energy future. Some will be joining the event virtually, while others will be attending in person.
The event will kick off with a keynote address on innovation and the future of clean energy in North Carolina, featuring insights from Ajulo Othow, Esq. (Founder and CEO, EnerWealth Solutions) and Marshall Cherry (COO, Roanoke Electric Cooperative).
This talk will be followed by a two-hour tabling session, when you'll have the opportunity to network and learn about the work of 15-20 organizations from North Carolina whose work impacts local communities and the world, including:

ABOUT ENERGY WEEK: Energy Week is coordinated by dozens of Duke University students from diverse degree programs, with support from the Duke University Energy Initiative (which is merging with the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions) and the Center for Energy, Development and the Global Environment (EDGE) at the Fuqua School of Business. Corporate and organizational sponsors also help make the week possible.
