Combatting Domestic Terrorism in the U.S.: A Conversation with Thomas Brzozowski

As part of its annual commemoration of the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, on September 7, the Triangle Center on Terrorism and Homeland Security will host Thomas Brzozowski, counsel for domestic terrorism at the U.S. Department of Justice. He will be interacting with students and faculty throughout the day and holding a public event at 6PM in Sanford 04. Brzozowski has held this position since 2015. He serves as the key point of contact within the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) for domestic terrorism matters and coordinates domestic terrorism-related legal and policy issues with the Congress and other federal law enforcement and national security agencies. At the public event, Brzozowski will be discussing these issues with Sanford School Professor David Schanzer, Director of the Triangle Center.
