The Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions and Sanford School of Public Policy present The Role of Nuclear Energy in a Clean and Safe Energy Future: A Conversation with Governor Christine Todd Whitman, moderated by William Reilly, EPA Administrator from 1988-1993 and chair of the Nicholas Institute Board of Advisors.A former Governor of New Jersey and former Environmental Protection Agency Administrator under President George W. Bush, Christine Todd Whitman is now Chair of the CASEnergy Coalition, a national grassroots organization that supports the increased use of nuclear energy to ensure an affordable, environmentally clean, reliable and safe supply of electricity. A reception will follow the talk from 6-7 p.m.
