Rebecca received BAs in Economics and Sociology from George Washington University in 2010, graduating summa cum laude. Following graduation, she worked as an Economist at the U.S. Department of Commerce. At Commerce, she used data from the Census Bureau and Bureau of Economic Analysis to contribute to published research regarding women's economic and educational attainment and the differences in broadband Internet adoption across the U.S., among other topics. At Duke, Rebecca's research focuses on how women's relative economic resources influence their relationship quality and joint career decisions.
