Emily joined the Sanford School in August of 2015. She handles audio and video services for the school.
After attending High Point University and receiving a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training, she worked as a paramedic for Guilford County EMS for six years. From there, Emily went to Culinary School, following her passion for food into the hospitality industry. She won a Silver Medal for her part on the Student Hot Foods Competition Team in 2011 from the American Culinary Federation. After graduation, she worked as the Assistant Pastry Chef at the Carolina Alumni Club and then as the Food Service Director at Chestnut Ridge Camp and Retreat Center.
She lives in Mebane with her husband and son.
