Jeff Quinn

Director of Community Resources, Durham Connects, Duke Center for Child and Family Policy

Jeff Quinn is the director of community resources for the Durham Connects program, first developed by the Center for Child and Family Policy. Quinn works and builds collaborations with non-profit and other agencies that provide services to parents and children in the Durham community and links them with the Durham Connects nursing team. In this role, he also serves as the co-chair of the Durham Connects Community Advisory Board as well as provides support to other community agencies. Quinn currently is also a co-investigator on the infrastructure- and capacity-building project with the Oak Foundation.

He previously worked at the Center as a project coordinator from 2004-2008, working on Fast Track, System of Care, and the Durham Family Initiative. Quinn has also done a lot of research in the realm of fatherhood and fathers' unique impacts on child development.

Quinn received his undergraduate degree from Drury University in Springfield, Missouri, in May 2001, and in May 2010 he received his master's degree in public health from The Gillings School of Global Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he focused his studies on health behavior and health education. Quinn is the proud father Nolan and Lily.
