Barbara Black Pollock

Associate in Research


Barbara Black Pollock joined the Sanford School in 1998, working with Ken Dodge to establish the Center for Child and Family Policy. She retired from that position in August 2017.  She’s currently working as a part-time associate in research assisting Ken Dodge with his research portfolio. 

Prior to her position with the Center, Pollock spent three years in the sociology department as the coordinator of the Markets and Management Studies certificate program and three years as assistant to the chair of the Religion Department.

Pollock is a Pennsylvania native who has called Durham home since 1978.
