Senior Research Aide, Duke Center for Child and Family Policy
Teresa Longenecker joined the Parenting Across Cultures (PAC) team in September 2016 as a senior research aide. She is bilingual and is primarily responsible for interviewing PAC study participants in Spanish. Prior to working with the Center, Longenecker tested dual language kindergartners in Spanish for an evaluation of the N.C. Pre-K program. In Wake County, she provided health and education services to Latino families and youth. She has lived and worked in Mexico and Central America and currently volunteers with local Latino outreach organizations. Longenecker holds a master’s degree from George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree from UNC-Chapel Hill.
