Judith Kelley Receives First Brownell-Whetten Diversity and Inclusion Award

Sanford Senior Associate Dean Judith Kelley has received the first Brownell-Whetten Diversity and Inclusion Award for outstanding commitment to inclusive excellence. She has been an active support of the school’s Committee on Diversity and Inclusion and has worked to ensure that the faculty recruitment process incorporates efforts to consider diverse candidates. She also facilitated a faculty discussion of Claude Steele’s book, Whistling Vivaldi: and Other Clues to How Stereotypes Affect Us. Sanford faculty, students and staff are eligible to be nominated.
