Bennett Wins Emmy Award

October 9, 2017

Phil Bennett, Eugene C. Patterson Professor of the Practice of Journalism and Public Policy at Sanford, co-produced a PBS FRONTLINE documentary that won an Emmy on Oct. 5.

“The Choice 2016,” won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Politics and Government Documentary. The in-depth biography of Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump gave Americans a deep look at where the candidates came from, how they lead, and why they sought to lead our nation. The award was one of four Emmy's collected by FRONTLINE this year.

Bennett talked about the film with Sanford Dean Kelly Brownell in the podcast Policy 360.

Bennett's next project  Putin’s Revenge, will air Oct. 25 and Nov. 1, 2017. Read more about his role as FRONTLINE Special Projects Editor.
