The Sanford School of Public Policy is seeking a highly respected public policy intellectual and dynamic leader to serve as Dean.
The Sanford School is home to more than 60 faculty members and over 700 students enrolled at the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels. The faculty represent ten distinct disciplines and are internationally renowned for the quality of their research, their practical experience outside the academy, and their dedication to training the next generation of public policy researchers and practitioners. The Dean is the School's chief academic and administrative officer and reports to the Provost. The Dean will aspire to hire and retain highly effective faculty members, strengthen ties between the Sanford School and the policy community, advocate for the school in external fundraising, promote diversity at all levels, and represent the School within the University community.
